Your website is a set of files. Hosting is the always-on computer (called a server) that stores those files and shows them to anyone who types in your address, at any hour. Without it, your site has nowhere to live. It's a monthly cost for the same reason electricity is: the server has to stay on and be looked after the whole time. You choose between two plans. Hosting alone is R150 a month: your site stays live, with SSL and security updates. Hosting & Care is R350 a month and adds someone watching your site, same-day fixes if something breaks, and monthly speed checks. A brand-new site with few visitors can start on R150 and move up whenever you want the extra support.

We host it for you as part of your monthly plan. This is included in Hosting (R150/month), Hosting & Care (R350/month) or Retainer (from R750/month). It means your site stays fast, secure, and online with zero effort from you.

Not while we're looking after it. Hosting with us is part of every site we build, because it's how we keep your site fast and secure, and how we fix it quickly if something breaks on Hosting & Care. Our sites also need a more modern type of hosting than most traditional hosting companies offer. The site files are still yours, though. If you ever decide to move on, we send you the files and you can host the site yourself. You're always welcome to keep your domain name registered wherever you like; domain and hosting are two separate things, and we'll help you connect them.

Security is one of the biggest reasons we build and host the way we do. Our platform runs on modern infrastructure with automatic security patches, encrypted connections (SSL), and built-in protection against common attacks, all included as standard, with no extra setup or plugins needed.
